2 Reasons to Pre-Order Red Dead Redemption 2 & 3 Reasons to Wait

Pre-Order for Red Dead Redemption 2 Deals

Pre-Order for Red Dead Redemption 2 Deals

If you do decide to pull the trigger, you can save some money by pre-ordering from Amazon (when the game is available), Best Buy or NewEgg. You don't need to wait.

If you pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2 though Amazon you need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of its offer. If you aren't a member, you should be able to signup for a free Amazon Prime trial and save 20% on a pre-order. This deal will vanish two weeks after the game's launch next year.

You can also save some cash if you're a Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) member. GCU is also a subscription-based service, but once you pay your $30 you'll get two years of savings.

GCU includes 20% off new physical video games, including pre-orders, 10% off pre-owned video games, 2X My Best Buy points on qualified purchases, special coupons, exclusive offers and more.

If you don't want to deal with either of those consider pre-ordering at NewEgg. The retailer was recently selling Red Dead Redemption 2 for $49.99, no strings attached, and that deal could return sometime later this year.

These are the best deals you'll see ahead of launch.
