We're seeing good deals on the 2017 MacBook Pro when there are sales, but if you are looking at the 13-inch MacBook Pro without TouchBar to save money, you may want to wait and see what happens in June. Apple is reportedly working on a 13-inch MacBook Pro that is going to arrive with a cheaper price. Last year Apple gave the MacBook Air a token update, but it wasn't the best value leading to many users buying a 13-inch MacBook without the TouchBar or Touch ID. Now we are hearing that we will see a cheaper 2018 MacBook Air and a new cheaper 13-inch MacBook Pro. Ming-Chi Kou previously reported that we could see a cheaper 13-inch MacBook Air in Q2, which could be this specific device with a different name.DigiTimes mentioned an entry level 13-inch MacBook for Q2, but a new report suggests it won't come until the second half of the year. Another report from DigiTimes claims that this entry level MacBook Pro, specifically called a Pro, will come with a 13.3-inch display made from a chinese company. A cheaper screen could allow Apple to lower the price of the MacBook Pro, while still keeping the same 2,560 x 1,600 resolution. If you're looking into a 13-inch MacBook Pro for the price, it may be worth holding off to see what Apple delivers in June or this fall. | |||||||||
