Don’t Pre-Order if You Want Xbox One X | |||||||||
Xbox One X buyers shouldn’t place a Destiny 2 pre-order. Bungie hasn’t confirmed whether it will add 4K visuals to Destiny 2 after the console’s November launch. Bungie’s David Dague told hosts of IGN’s Fireside Chat podcast that the studio doesn’t know if the game gets will get a free update to take advantage of the powerful processor, RAM and graphics processor inside the console. That’s despite Destiny 2 for PS4 Pro and PC supporting 4K televisions. Assassin’s Creed Origins, Crackdown 3 and Forza 7 will all launch with support for 4K televisions and the Xbox One X this fall. Developers plan to update thirty games to support the console for free too.
