If you want to avoid the madness that typically comes with iPhone release day, do yourself a favor and pre-order the iPhone X.
It might not be as crazy as year's past, but we do expect people to lineup to buy Apple's brand new flagship, particularly if the phone sells out online. If you want to avoid standing out in the cold in a long potentially annoying line on November 3rd, you'll want to order online. Apple Stores will open up at 8AM local time. You also won't know what kind of stock Apple and retail partners will have on hand. Some stores could have a few iPhone X models handy (which will go in seconds to people ahead of you in line) and some might not have any at all. Again, we're expecting shortages and that applies to physical retail locations.
There's no guarantee your local store will have the model you want in stock so your best bet is to just put in an early order and avoid release day heartbreak. |
