Are you just getting started with Fortnite Battle Royale? That's the boat I am in as I am switching over to check out the game after logging days of playtime in PUBG. 

I like that I can easily get started in Fortnite Battle Royale, and that I can play with friends on iOS even though I am on my Xbox One X. This game looks very interesting, but I'm not ready to spend $10 on a Battle Pass that is about to end and that will only unlock a little bit of gear for me at this stage. 

If you are also a new Fortnite Battle Royale player, you should spend time learning how to play and then decide if you want the extra challenges and other items that this offers. If it is a game you will continue to play, then you should see if the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass is worth buying.
