Fortnite Season 4 is here. This is what you need to know about the new 100 tier Season 4 Battle Pass, theme, challenges and more.

Epic finally revealed the Fortnite Season 4 theme with a new video that is linked up to the meteors and comets that were circling above the map. We have a new look at the rewards, how to get low gravity powerups in Fortnite Battle Royale.

After Epic made over 223 million from Fortnite in March, you can expect to see some crazy new skins on sale in Season 4 in addition to the seven rewards that are part of the new Battle Pass.

When Does Fortnite Season 4 Start?

Fortnite Season 4 is now live across all consoles and mobile. The start kicked off after a lengthy downtime and a short delay for the new update to arrive on iOS. You can start playing the Week 1 Battle Pass Challenges, or you can jump into the free part of the game.

Fortnite Season 4 lasts 69 days, so it will end on Monday July 9th.

Even though Epic added 30 more levels and loads more loot, they kept the price of the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass at 950 V-Bucks. This remains the price for the Season 4 Battle Pass.

You can only buy the Battle Pass with  buy it with V-Bucks. This means you’ll spend about $10 to get 1,000 V-Bucks and have 50 left over. This strategy helps convince players to spend on more V-Bucks or look for ways to earn free V-Bucks so that players don’t have 50 V-Bucks wasted in an account.

The Season 4 Battle Pass Bundle is still 2,800 and unlocks your next 25 levels. If you bought the Season 3 Battle Pass you automatically get five levels unlocked, so this jumps you to level 30 immediately.

5 Reasons to Buy Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass, 3 Reasons To Wait

Buy Now For the Best Value

Epic continues to make the Battle Pass a bigger and bigger reward system for players. While the loot is all cosmetic, they definitely reward paying players with more items and things to do in the game.

The Battle Pass offers 75 to 150 hours of playtime to unlock all of the content with 100 tiers in the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass. This time around you get approximately 25,000 V-Bucks worth of items when you complete the Battle Pass.

One thing we love about the Battle Pass is that the rewards are retroactive, so if you buy the Battle Pass after 1 month, you get all the tiers you already unlocked. That said, there is a benefit to buying the new Battle Pass as soon as possible if you are motivated like we are.

When you start Fortnite Season 4 with the Battle Pass you will be able to earn XP boosts that will help you level up faster and unlock the rewards and new challenges faster. Ultimately you get more value if you start Season 4 with the Battle Pass than if you buy it halfway through, even though you get the same rewards.
