Wait if You're Worried About Problems

If you're concerned about the potential for Galaxy S20 hardware or software problems, you might want to wait a few weeks before picking up your new phone.

The Galaxy S20 models run Android 10 and One UI out of the box. The software is plagued by a variety of issues and the Galaxy S20's software will likely have some problems of its own.

Samsung and its carrier partners will likely roll out bug fix updates in early 2020 to address the initial issues so it might be worth waiting for the first batch of bug fixes to arrive before committing to one of these models.

New Galaxy phones sometimes debut with hardware issues as well. In the past we've seen various production issues including problems with the company's displays.

If you're concerned, you might want to hang back and see what kind of problems early adopters are reporting in the weeks after the launch.
