If you pre-order a Galaxy Z Fold 5, you can save money if you've got a device to trade-in or if you switch carriers.

Samsung and its partners are currently providing substantial trade-in offers to those willing to exchange their current device for Galaxy Z Fold 5.

For instance, Samsung is offering up to a $1000 trade-in credit if you trade-in an eligible device. That obviously makes the expensive phone much cheaper. And if you opt for the 1TB version of the device, you'll get $150 off. 

Samsung will also provide you with discounts if you bundle your phone with another Samsung device. You can take $300 off a new Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, up to $240 off the new Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, and $180 off Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. 

U.S. carriers AT&T and Verizon have also joined in on the action. AT&T is offering the same $1000 credit, as is Verizon. 

Unfortunately these offers probably won't last forever so if you want to upgrade right away and you want to save a ton of cash, you might want to pre-order.
