Wait for a Larger Display

Apple increased the size of the budget iPad's display last year and it looks like it might do it again in 2020. 

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is planning to bump the device's display size up to a larger 10.8-inches. It's not a huge jump, but it would offer a little more real estate for things like content consumption, gaming, and getting work done on the go. 

It's unclear if Apple will increase the overall size of the device or if it will simply shrink the size of the screen bezels. 

Either way, if you're interested in a budget iPad, and you want more than 10.2-inches of space, think about waiting for the new model.
