You don't have to wait for Apple's announcements to save money on a new iPad. 

As we push deeper into 2020 we've seen retailers offer some nice price cuts on the 10.2-inch model with a lot more to come. Amazon is currently selling the budget iPad for $249.99, one of the lowest prices we've seen this year. 

We'll probably see some amazing deals emerge throughout 2020 so there's no reason to pay full price for the 10.2-inch iPad.

The same goes for the 2018 iPad Pros, iPad mini 5, iPad Air 3 and, perhaps, even the new iPad Pros. You should see some price reductions on these models throughout the year as well.
