Developers have released a new jailbreak tool that's compatible with most iPhone models. The developers behind the "unc0ver" jailbreaking tool for iOS have released a version that's compatible with newer versions of iOS. It's unclear if it works with iOS 12.5.6. Jailbreak developers have also released a tool, dubbed checkra1n, that works with newer versions of iOS 12 though it's unclear if it works with iOS 12.5.6. At the moment, you can assume it won't.
