Apple's touting all of the benefits of the new iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max. And while the two devices do sound great on paper, there's no guarantee you'll want or need all of the changes.
We don't expect short-term or long-term iPhone Xs reviews to go live before pre-orders start. We should see reviews start to trickle out next week with long-term iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max reviews coming from us, and others, a few weeks later. Buying a new iPhone model might sound great, but many of you are going to be perfectly fine going with a cheaper iPhone like the iPhone X, iPhone 8, or the new 6.1-inch LCD iPhone when it arrives in October. If money is tight or you're on the fence about going with a new model versus an old one, we recommend waiting for iPhone Xs reviews, long-term feedback from critics and early adopters, and for the devices to arrive in stores.
Many of you should go hands-on with the new models, particularly the iPhone Xs Max, before committing to a new device. |
