Wait If You Want to Keep Your Next Phone for Awhile

One of the best things about buying a new flagship is the software support you receive. In the case of Apple, you typically get four years of features, bug fixes, and security updates. In the case of Samsung, it's typically two major Android releases and a little more than two years of software support.

So while you might be tempted to skip the Galaxy S9 and go with a cheaper alternative like the Galaxy S8 Active or Galaxy S7 Active, their software support will come to an end much faster than it will for the Galaxy S9 Active.

There's also a good chance the Galaxy S9 Active comes with Google's Project Treble which could translate into faster Android updates.

The Galaxy S9 Active's hardware upgrades also ensure that it will receive the best Samsung features in updates to come. Android updates for older devices are often limited due to aging hardware.

If you plan on keeping your next phone for several years, think about waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S9 Active.

This article is one of the most useless articles I’ve scanned on the internet in awhile. Please stop writing this junk, you’re ruining a good thing.
