Don't Wait if You Don't Want to Spend a Lot of Money
If you're on a budget, you may not want to wait for the iPad Air 5.
The iPad Air 4 isn't as expensive as Apple's iPad Pros, but it's far more expensive than the company's budget iPad and iPad mini.
Currently, the iPad Air 4 starts at $599 for the 64GB Wi-Fi model, but it can go up to $879 if you want the 256GB variant with cellular data.
Again, you can find some deals, but even with a price cut you're still looking at paying more than $500 for a new iPad Air 4.
We suspect the iPad Air 5, with its upgrades and OLED display, will slot in at the same price point as the iPad Air 4.
So if you aren't prepared to spend that kind of money on a tablet, start looking at alternatives.
