You can expect the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro to run Google's best version of Android 14. Android 14 is currently in beta ahead of its release later this year. It's the operating system that will power the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro out of the box. We don't have a full list yet, but you can expect to reserve some Android 14 features for this year's Pixel models. &t=8s Another note: While you might be tempted to buy an older Pixel device like the Pixel 6 or Pixel 5, note that software support for those devices will end much earlier than support for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
