On the flipside, there are a few reasons why you shouldn't buy the Galaxy Note 8. Or at least why you may end up considering other options on the market.

The biggest reason not to buy the Galaxy Note 8 is the price tag. This phone is expensive, $960 expensive. After taxes and such you're shelling out over $1,000 for a smartphone. That's a tough pill for anyone to swallow, even with monthly payment plans. You'll pay Verizon $40 a month for this phone, almost doubling your cell phone bill.

At the same time, we've seen prices nearly this high in the past, and more are certainly coming soon. Rumors suggest the iPhone 8 (or iPhone Edition) is going to retail between $1,000 to $1,200 for the higher storage models. So the Note 8 isn't the most expensive, or at least it won't be.

If this is an area of concern, you'll be happy to learn there are countless Galaxy Note 8 deals available. Buy one today and get over $200 in free accessories, buy one get one free, or even a $200 gift card from select retailers. There are discounts, but it's still expensive when you consider the Galaxy S8+ offers almost the same experience for hundreds less.
