If you're in a rush to buy a new device, you'll have to look elsewhere. 

As of right now you can expect the Galaxy S22 series to launch in February. The release date should follow soon after.

Samsung's confirmed an Unpacked event for February though it hasn't specified a date yet. The event almost certainly will revolve around the Galaxy S22 series. 

According to a leak, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S22 series on February 9th. We'll let you know when that's confirmed.

We've seen the Galaxy S22 receive its certification in India which suggests these devices are currently on track for early 2022. The devices have also received necessary certification in Brazil. 

One other thing to keep in mind: If you're planning to buy the Galaxy S22 Ultra, you may have a hard time finding one.

Samsung is reportedly expecting a lot of demand for the high-end model and that could lead to supply shortages out of the gate. If they're correct, we could see substantial shipping delays.

If you can't wait until February, you'll want to move on and find another phone.
