Don't Wait If You Find Something You Love
Don't let the rumored iPhone SE 2 launch hold you back.
If you don't care about having the latest specs and software features and simply want a cheap and solid experience paired with a 4-inch iPhone display, you might just want to pickup the iPhone SE right now.
If you're willing to hunt around a little more, you might be able to find it cheaper on resale sites like eBay and Craigslist.
Most plans allow you to upgrade to a new device after a year, when you trade in your phone. So if you were to buy a new device (like the iPhone SE) in the near future, you'd be able to pick up an iPhone SE 2 a year from now.
The iPhone SE 2 already has serious competition and some of that competition is from Apple itself.
There's also a wealth of Android competition. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are excellent devices and you don't have to pay top dollar for them. Same goes for the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL from Google.
Before you commit to waiting for a phone that may or may not exist, make sure you dig into iPhone SE 2 alternatives including some outside of Apple.
