Wait for Better Battery Life & Performance
If speed and battery life are extremely important to you, you might think about holding out for the iPhone SE 2.
Early iPhone SE 2 rumors claimed the device could feature the same A10 processor found in the iPhone 7. Another sketchy rumor from claimed it would have 2GB of RAM with an A10 Fusion processor. A report from an accessory maker claimed the same thing. Fortunately, it looks like the iPhone SE 2 will feature better specs.
Barclays analyst Blayne Curtis has heard that the new iPhone SE 2 might use the iPhone 8's internals which include the Apple A11 Bionic processor and 3GB of RAM.
Kuo's most recent report claims the device will feature a faster A13 chip (same as the iPhone 11) along with 3GB of RAM. If it features the A13, that's a big deal.
In the real world, a faster and more efficient processor means top of the line battery life, high-performance gaming, and solid all-around speeds.
So if a souped up iPhone 8 sounds like something you'd be interested in, think about waiting.
