Researchers also discovered that Apple brought a new "BlastDoor" sandbox security system to macOS Big Sur, iOS 14, and iPadOS 14. The system is meant to prevent attacks from occurring via the Messages app.

    Definitely glitchy to install. After a couple stalled attempts I followed a couple recommendatins that finally worked. First, unclick “Automatically Keep My Mac Up To Date, then restart in Safe Mode (restart hold down the shift key), then try to install, that worked for me.

    This update was just security and a bit of performance fix. Nothing special.
