If you are buying the Apple Watch 4 and picking up the iPhone XS Max or anything else at the same time there is a good chance your bank or credit card company will flag the transaction as out of the ordinary if you aren't typically spending a lot of money at Apple.
It's a good idea to have a backup payment plan handy so that you don't miss out on your purchase if you have an issue with your credit or debit card. While you can call your bank or the 1-800 number on the back of your card and let them know you plan to purchase, we've had mixed results with this action. It's better to simply make sure you have a backup payment option, or to use a dedicated credit card that is good at handling these types of purchases like a business credit card or a good personal credit card instead of using your debit card. |
