New Battlefront 2 Update on December 5th

When EA DICE delivers DLC content it does so via updates to the base game. The company hasn't outlined its plans in detail, but it looks like the developer will push an update live on December 5th. 

DICE says an update rolling out on December 5th will begin the Star Wars Battlefront 2 The Last Jedi Season by "kicking off factional challenges." It's unclear if this will be a client-side update or a server-side update. 

If the DLC's content arrives inside of a client-side update like we assume it will, we'd expect the download to be fairly sizable.

If space is limited on your hard drive, make sure you do some cleanup before December 5th and December 13th.
