Of course, The Last Jedi will also bring some changes to the multiplayer portion of the game. The list includes new characters, new locations, and new vehicles to pilot. 

The new hero units are Finn and Captain Phasma. Finn obviously fights for the Resistance and Captain Phasma will join the First Order. Both arrive on December 13th.

DICE notes that you'll be able to purchase these heroes with in-game Credits from that week, but it's unclear if the company's changes to microtransactions will effect this decision. 

If your faction (First Order or Resistance) completes the most challenges that week, you will get a special Crate of high-power upgrades for either Finn or Captain Phasma.

The DLC will also bring additional The Last Jedi content to Battlefront 2. 

On December 13th, Battlefront 2 players will get a new planetary map called Crait and the Starfighter Assault game mode will get a map of D'Qar.

The expansion also includes Tallie Lintra's RZ-2 A-wing and Poe Dameron’s T-70 X-wing gets a new upgrade inspired by the movie.
