You can now try the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update on your Nexus 5X right now. 

Google's released an early version of the Nexus 5X Android 7.1.2 Nougat update into the Android Beta Program.

The Android 7.1.2 Nougat beta is also available for the Pixel and Pixel XL, Nexus Player, Pixel C, and the Nexus 6P. 

If you're already enrolled in the beta program, you'll get the Android 7.1.2 update in a few days with no action required. If you'd like to try the Nexus 5X's update, you'll need to sign up via Google's beta program. It should only take a few minutes. 

While most of you will probably want to skip early software and its problems, others might find benefit in testing performance and helping Google weed out problems ahead of the update's release later this year.
