Both the Galaxy Note 8 and the iPhone X come with 64GB of storage built-in. However, the iPhone X has a 256GB option that isn't available on the Galaxy Note 8.
That said, the Galaxy Note 8 has a huge advantage over the iPhone because it supports microSD cards. Instead of paying a lot more for a 256GB iPhone X, just get the Galaxy Note 8 and add a 256GB microSD card. This gives you over 300GB of space, and you can swap out the microSD card whenever you need to. Additionally, this year SanDisk released a 400GB microSD card, meaning Note 8 owners can technically have 464GB of space on their phone. Expandable storage gives the Galaxy Note 8 an advantage when it comes to a users wants and needs in terms of storage.
