The July Android 7.1.2 build will be one of the last Nougat builds the Nexus 5X gets from Google.

Google is planning to push out one more Android O beta (sometime in July, date unknown) before it releases the final version to the public.

The final Android O update is expected to land for the Nexus 5X before the end of the third quarter which means it'll probably arrive in August or September.

The Nexus 5X will get Android O and it will continue to get updates deep into the next year. The company recently confirmed plans to roll out security patches to the Nexus 5X through September 2018.

Google says it can't guarantee Android version updates for the Nexus 5X after September 2017 which means Android O will probably be its last major update.
