Automatic System Updates

Speaking of seamless updates, heading into the hidden Developer Menu in Android 7.0 Nougat users will find a new option and toggle for "Automatic system updates". This is seamless updates. It is enabled by default so owners will just get updates when they are ready, without having to accept and then get shut down and have to wait for it to finish. It will install in the background and apply at your next reboot.

However, not everyone wants this to be enabled, and may not want to get small updates like Android 7.1.2 in the Spring. If so, head into the developer menu and disable the seamless automatic update feature if you'd like.
