An excellent new feature for Google Pixel phones and the Pixel launcher is app shortcuts. Think of it as 3D Touch with the iPhone, but different and more powerful. This allows users to long-press an app icon on the homescreen or even in the application tray for commands, rather than opening the app. Long press camera for take a Selfie or Record Video, rather than taking 2-4 steps to open the app and do it. This works in almost app stock Google Apps. Not to mention many 3rd party apps if developers enable it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
