Timely

Timely is one of the best looking apps available, including a tablet mode for those who have a spare device sitting on the bedside. The app was so well designed and received that Google actually bought the company. As a result, it's now completely free, yet is still jam-packed full of useful features.

We have standard alarm features, wake up challenges, and cloud sync so any settings are on all of your devices. Most of this is built into Android now though, too.

Set themes to make the app any color you'd like, turn your phone over for snooze, and try their widgets on a phone or tablet for even more useful features. You'll love this app.

I’ve stuck with the native google clock for alarms. The increasing ring happens on work days and wakes me up fine. If you can’t get up on time, go to bed earlier :)

Wait for Faster Storage

Wait for Faster Storage

The Galaxy S20's UFS 3.0 storage will soon be surpassed by another standard.

Samsung has started making the industry's first 512GB UFS 3.1 chip. According to Samsung, the 512GB eUFS 3.1 processes up to 60 percent faster than UFS 3.0. Random read and write speeds are apparently up to 60% faster.

What this means is that we'll soon see quicker transfers of the high-definition videos and photos shot with smartphone cameras.

Samsung says in addition to the 512GB option, the company will also have 256GB and 128GB capacities available for flagship smartphones that will be launched later in 2020.

So while it doesn't call it out by name, there's a good chance this technology appears on the Galaxy S21 series.
