Sleep As Android (Wear OS)

Sleep As Android (Wear OS)

Last but certainly not least is an awesome app for anyone that owns and uses a smartwatch or wearable. While it does all the normal alarm clock functions, the key selling point here is that it ties in with Google's Wear OS, Google Fit, and other fitness or wearable devices.

Sleep As Android works with Spotify, Phillip's Hue lights, Samsung's S-Health app, Google Fit, and almost every wearable device on the market. It will play your music, control the lights, track your sleep patterns and so much more. It's a very advanced app for power users that want to do it all.

It can even detect when you're snoring and make noises to get you to stop. Use nature sounds, water, baby noises, birds chirping, answer math questions, scan barcodes and more to get up. Share sleep patterns on Facebook. You name it, this app probably has it. You can try the paid version or become a pro user for $3.99.

I’ve stuck with the native google clock for alarms. The increasing ring happens on work days and wakes me up fine. If you can’t get up on time, go to bed earlier :)

Don't Wait If You Can't Wait Until Early 2021

If you can't wait until early 2021 to buy your next phone, you'll want to move on.

We won't get a specific release date for several months, but assuming the coronavirus outbreak doesn't delay Samsung's plans, you can count on a launch in the same window the company always uses to launch its new Galaxy S.

The Galaxy S series typically launches in the first quarter (these days the company uses the month of February) and that's what you can expect in 2021.

Don't expect a surprise launch in late 2020. If anything, we could see delays.
