Best Android Phones Under $300

LG Stylo 4

LG Stylo 4

If you're looking for a Galaxy Note 9 but you're on a budget, consider the LG Stylo 4. Announced and released in July of 2018, this phone has a big 6.2-inch display and a stylus. It's LG's vision of a cheaper Galaxy Note.

You'll get a powerful 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 3GB of RAM, a 6.2-inch 1080p HD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and small bezels. Then, it takes good photos with a decent 13MP camera, 5MP on the front, Android 8.1 Oreo and a few other goodies. Yes, it'll get Android Pie in 2019, too.

Additionally, there's a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, fast software, and multiple apps designed to take advantage of the Stylus. And finally, it has a 3,300 mAh battery which is about average, if not a little small considering the screen size.

This phone is only $249 though, which makes it impressive. Get it at Amazon, or from T-Mobile and other retailers.

The 2015 ZTE Axon Pro smokes most of these and is selling for under $275

Look up booting issues with Nexus 5x. Most are crashing with in a year. LG is able to repair the phones because the mother boards are no longer available. –that is why some people are not selling them and they are cheaper! They are great while they work but that is too much money for pay for less than a year!

I’m looking for a new phone for my wife because her Nexus 5X turned itself off yesterday and now won’t get past a bootloop. It is 15 months old and from everything I’m reading online there’s no fix for it.
