Best Android Phones Under $300

Samsung Galaxy A7

Samsung Galaxy A7

A lot of phones under $300 end up being a few years old or offering average-at-best specs. That's not the case with the Samsung Galaxy A7 announced in late 2018. This phone is close to high-end, without the high-end price tag.

And while the Samsung Galaxy A7 might not have a bezel-free display like some more modern phones, it's packing everything else you'll want or need. That includes a big 6-inch screen, 128GB of storage, triple rear cameras and a sleek design. Yes, most cheap phones only have 32 or at most 64GB, but this one has 128GB for all your apps, games, photos, and videos plus a microSD slot.

You're getting a 24MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle, and a 3rd depth and detail sensing sensor, not to mention a 24MP shooter on the front too. Then, we're getting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack and a big 3,300 mAh battery all for under $275.

The 2015 ZTE Axon Pro smokes most of these and is selling for under $275

Look up booting issues with Nexus 5x. Most are crashing with in a year. LG is able to repair the phones because the mother boards are no longer available. –that is why some people are not selling them and they are cheaper! They are great while they work but that is too much money for pay for less than a year!

I’m looking for a new phone for my wife because her Nexus 5X turned itself off yesterday and now won’t get past a bootloop. It is 15 months old and from everything I’m reading online there’s no fix for it.
