LG Optimus L90
Following the success of Motorola, LG announced a new device called the LG L90, or Optimus L90 in mid-2014. The screen is slightly larger than the original Moto G coming in at 4.7-inches, but isn't as big as the new G, or the BLU 5 in our next slide. Sadly it isn't HD either and will only be 540 x 960 in resolution, so the others may be a better visual experience. Screen aside, the $155 (now $130) LG L90 delivers a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and a micro-SD for expansion, and a fairly decent 5 megapixel camera.
The new Moto G or ZenPhone 2 are both better devices, there's no question about it, but the L90 isn't bad either considering the price. Oh, and right now it's over $40 less than it debuted for, and is just $130. We're expecting a new LG budget phone to be announced soon here in 2015.
