Dumb Ways to Die 2 is a follow-up to the smashing success and extremely addicting first game, Dumb Ways to Die. They even have a 3rd game, but the second one is still my favorite and what we're recommending here today. 

This started out as a campaign to teach people about being safe around trains but quickly turned into 50+ extremely fun and addicting mini-games for mobile devices.  You collect little characters, unlock achievements, music, videos and more. 

Basically, you play little mini-games where you do all sorts of odd tasks. Sometimes you'll mess up, and you'll die. It's hard to explain, but this game works without the internet and will keep you entertained for hours on end. The kids will love it too.
