Snapseed was an extremely popular app on iOS for a long time, but a few years ago Google bought them out. Don't worry though, it remains one of the best Android photo editing apps. Snapseed has helpful pre-determined controls and filters, auto correct, auto toning, straighten and rotate, crop, filters and more.
Initially, Snapseed was all about borders, filters, and auto-correction for images, but it's much more than that these days. You can completely modify an image in a matter of seconds, then share it anywhere and everywhere.
For those jealous of the iPhone 8 portrait lighting feature, Snapseed does it on Android. Just crop a headshot, add some black and white magic, and reduce the "shadow bar" on the image tuner slider. Here is more information for those interested. Oh, Snapseed is completely free, too.
