Yakuza Kiwami

Selling for $29.99, Yakuza Kiwami is a massive remake of a video game from the PS2. Protagonist Kiryu was expelled from the Yakuza after going to prison. He leaves prison to find 100 million Yen and the love of his life have disappeared. His search for answers forces him to take on the yakuza and many of the people he knew before his trip to prison.

Besides the plot, we know that Yakuza Kiwami will launch in 2017. It’s rare that updated releases get new story related content, but this title will. This game has 30 minutes of new cut-scenes alone. There are combat upgrades and new pocket car races. Side quests give gamers something to do when they need a distraction from the main story. A new Majima Everywhere system allows one enemy to do battle with Kiryu at any time.

Yakuza Kiwami will fully support high-definition television sets. That’s something the original game didn’t do.
