Moto Z2 Force

Moto Z2 Force

Last but not least is a phone that's more geared for everyone, instead of someone that works in construction. The Moto Z2 Force is a typical high-end flagship Android smartphones, it's just a little more durable than most.

So if you want a regular phone experience but need something strong and capable, this is another good rugged Android phone. Motorola's Z2 Force isn't in the same class as everything else here, but you'll enjoy a completely shatterproof screen. Most hardcore users don't need everything else but get rugged phones because they keep breaking screens. This phone features something called "ShatterShield" on the display.

The Moto Z2 Force comes with a big 5.5-inch Quad-HD display wrapped in 7000 series aluminum. There are two 12 Megapixel cameras on the back for improved photography, a powerful processor, 4GB of RAM and plenty of storage. You can expand storage with a microSD slot, and it recharges faster than almost any phone on the market. There's also a fingerprint scanner for improved security.

Another aspect of the Moto Z2 Force is something called Moto Mods. These are magnetically attachable mods that turn this durable phone into a projector, a portable speaker with a JBL boombox attachment, or a 360-degree action camera. The battery life isn't that great, but they sell battery mods that click on in seconds when you're running low. It also runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and will see Android 8.0 Oreo soon.

In closing, this is a durable phone for anyone that always drops their phone or needs something rugged, but doesn't want to get too crazy with their purchase. It works on Verizon also, which is something most on our list can't offer.
