New Black Ops 3 Guns and Features Coming

We are still waiting for Treyarch to deliver some features listed as coming soon in the game.

If you open up the settings of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 you will see some sections list things as Coming Soon, like Music Tracks. We expect to see Treyarch open this up with a free update in 2016. Unfortunately we don't know when this will happen or how it will work.

We are waiting for some way to download paintjobs, but this may not happen at all. It is potentially linked to trademarked images, but other games are able to deal with this. When asked about this, Vonderhaar replied that this is , "a good idea that faced an uphill battle and ran out of breath and passed out and will have to re-visited in the future."

There are now many new melee weapons and new Black Ops 3 guns in the game. These are only available in Supply Drops and you currently need to open a lot of them to get a weapon.

Activision pushed to add Call of Duty Points or CP to the game late last year and gamers can use these to buy new Class Slots and to buy Rare Supply Drops.

We may also see a new Specialist this year that brings us up to 10 in the game, but this character may only come in Supply Drops and rumors indicate he will steal other abilities and weapons rather than bringing a new skill to the game.

Originally the weapons in Supply Drops were just new variants of the weapons you already had access too, but the new guns are arguably different enough to give some players an edge, even if it is still based on their skill.

When asked about Season Pass holders getting the weapons Vonderhaar replied, "Thanks for the feedback. Not in a position to talk about unannounced stuff and especially business stuff. I just make the shoes."

All signs point to new weapons coming after the Eclipse DLC, and you will likely need to get them in Supply Drops. Here's why that isn't a good thing for gamers.
