Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1.05 Update: What’s New

Published

on

Gamers can now download the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1.05 update on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

This update is likely aimed at fixing more of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare problems that players ran into over the launch weekend. We’ve seen several small updates to the game over the weekend with multiple playlist changes.

Expect to spend some extra time downloading these updates, and if you are picking up the game now, it will add to Modern Warfare download times. Here’s how the update stacks up across consoles and PC;

  • PS4 – 2.4 GB
  • Xbox One – 3.02 GB
  • PC – 8 GB

The update is live on all systems now, and you will need to complete this installation before you can play online. Users who are not home can expect to their console to automatically download and install the update if setup properly. Still, it’s a good idea to turn your console or PC on when you get home and check so that you aren’t surprised when you decide to play later.

Infinity Ward shared what’s new in the Modern Warfare 1.05 update, and it is a bug fix update with one specific fix mentioned and a focus on crashes and stability.

  • We’ve done work on the backend to help with stability and prevent crashes across all platforms. If you experience a crash, please let us know
  • Fix for a Special Ops Achievement that was not unlocking after completing all missions

We’ll update with any additional information that Infinity Ward shares about this patch.
