Clash Royale November Update: What to Expect

Published

on

Another Clash Royale update is on the way with lots of changes players need to know about. Supercell recently confirmed the November Clash Royale balance changes, but that’s just one of many things coming as the year comes to a close.

Whether you’re a competitive gamer, part of the CRL, or just enjoy Clan Wars with friends, you’ll want to pay attention to what’s changing on November 5th. Most notably, toning down the Royal Ghost and Royal Hogs.

Supercell is doing a good job at keeping things fresh and new in Clash Royale. We received Clan Wars, tons of new emotes, and a guarantee that within the first week of each month balance changes will improve or fix the game. That said, we expected a little more from the November update.

Clash Royale November Update & Balance Changes

So far we don’t have any concrete evidence about what’s coming to Clash Royale in November. That said, we know the developers have a few exciting things planned. From new troops, additional game modes in Clan Wars, and potentially something big for Thanksgiving and the Christmas months.

For now, all they’ve shared is the latest round of November balance changes. And, they’re pretty light, considering the CRL has some big games coming soon. Basically, nothing major is changing until the December balance changes.

  • Royal Ghost: Hitpoints -9%
  • Royal Hogs: Damage -6%
  • Inferno Tower: Hitpoints +3%
  • Skeleton Barrel: Death Damage +62%
  • Mega Knight: Hit Speed faster 1.8sec -> 1.7sec
  • Tombstone: Spawn Speed slower 2.9sec -> 3.1sec. When destroyed, spawned skeletons reduced 4 -> 3
  • Giant: Hitpoints -2%
  • Magic Archer: First attack slower
  • Cannon Cart: Hit Speed slower 1.2sec -> 1.3sec
  • Dart Goblin: Damage +4%

Even though we’re not seeing as many changes as many wanted, or expected, these are quite helpful for the overall state of the game. Both the Royal Ghost and Hogs are out of control, so this will reign them in a little bit.

Additionally, we’re seeing a tiny buff to the Inferno Tower to help with seige and beatdown decks, a more useful Mega Knight, Skeleton Barrel death damage, and a slower Magic Archer. These are all good things. We’re excited over the Tombstone change, as it offered way too much value at 3 elixir, especially for beat-down and Lava Hound decks.

Other Details

Again, this is all we’re hearing so far from Supercell. More information is available over on Reddit, and we’ll update this post as we learn more.

Keep in mind that while this is all about balance changes, we believe an additional update will arrive sometime in November, or early December. Updates that will deliver more than just changes to cards. We’re talking about new troops, new game modes, new challenges, bug fixes and more.
