If you are sick of skying the ball over the goal just because you want to take a shot on goal that doesn't slowly roll towards the goal, you'll love this new FIFA 17 feature.
In FIFA 16 putting power on a shot or a header almost ensures that it will go over the goal. In FIFA 17, you can now take a Driven Shot or a go for a Driven Header.
With Driven Finish you can keep the ball low when shooting, going for a volley and any other situation. You can also now make downward headers, which will put the ball into the goal instead of over it.
In addition to keeping the ball down with headers and driven shots on goal there are two more important attacking controls.
You can now take a driven goal kick to quickly move the ball downfield for a counter attack without lofting it and opening up a chance for a battle in the air.
Anew threaded through pass should make it easier to put the ball into space or curve it into the box for a chance on goal than in FIFA 16.
