Fortnite Battle Royale Meteors Falling: Will Tilted Towers Survive?
As Fortnite Season 3 comes to an end and players start looking at Fortnite Season 4, the comet that has been spotted on the Fortnite Battle Royale map is now joined by many meteors that are galling in the game.
Adding to the theory that Epic is kicking off a map changing event with the destruction of Tilted Towers with a comet or meteor, players are now spotting meteors in the sky.
On consoles controller vibrations in Morse Code point to the destruction of Tilted Towers with April 18th as a date of destruction. This lines up with the end of season 3 and could signal major changes to the map for Fortnite Season 4.
The meteor or comet is clearly visible when jumping into the map on the Fortnite app. You can see it approaching the map in the video clip above.
If you aim at the meteor you will hear sounds, and we could see other interactions coming.

We are seeing some reports of meteor fragments entering the map atmosphere in Fortnite Battle Royale, as shown briefly in the video above.
It’s not clear if the meteors will all impact on Tilted Towers today, or if the 4-18 was a teaster to alert us to the start of the end.
If there is no impact tonight that takes out Tilted Towers then you can expect to see additional changes throughout the next several days as changes happen to pave the way for Fortnite Season 4.
