Galaxy Note 5 Nougat Update: 6 Reasons to Get Excited & 1 Not To
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Nougat release date hasn’t landed yet but it’s time to start getting excited about the Galaxy Note 5 Nougat update and its release.
Samsung’s Galaxy Android Nougat update roll out continues to gather steam as we push into the month of March.
The company’s Nougat roll out is currently focused on five devices including the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Active, Galaxy S6, and Galaxy S6 Edge. We expect a few more devices to join the party in the near future.
One of those devices is the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the big screen device that launched the year before the company’s ill-fated Galaxy Note 7.

The Galaxy Note 5 currently runs Samsung’s version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow which means Android Nougat will be the device’s second major operating system upgrade. Given the device’s age, it could also be its last.
As we’ve pushed deeper into Samsung’s Nougat release we’ve learned quite a bit about Samsung’s plans for the Galaxy Note 5.
With a release on the horizon, we want to take you through a few of the things you should be excited about if you’re the proud owner of a Galaxy Note 5.
We also want to take a look at a couple of things that might leave you a bit disappointed as we close in on the Galaxy Note 5 Android 7.0 Nougat update’s release in the United States and countries around the world.
