Galaxy Note 5 Nougat Update: 6 Reasons to Get Excited & 1 Not To

There's a lot to be excited about but there's one detail that has us a bit disappointed. Nothing is confirmed but there's a chance Samsung keeps some Android Nougat features exclusive to the Galaxy S7. One such feature is the Samsung Galaxy S7's Always On Display. The feature didn't make an appearance in the Galaxy S6 Android Nougat update and reports indicate that it probably won't make it to the Galaxy Note 5. The Galaxy S6 Nougat update is also missing some other key features from the Galaxy S7's Nougat update including several camera modes (Food, Hyperlapse, and Selfie flash), and Video Enhancer mode. Nothing is confirmed but Galaxy Note 5 users should start tempering their expectations now. Samsung has a tendency to hold back key features (due to hardware limitations or business decisions) and the Note 5's Nougat update might not be as feature-rich as the Galaxy S7's. | ||||||||
