This could also go under design, but needs a separate area to talk about it. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (a first for any Note) does not have a micro-SD slot to expand storage, and the battery can't be removed, replaced, or switched out for a bigger one. Both phones have a 3,000 mAh battery in terms of size, so battery life should be somewhat similar. The Note 5 also ditched the IR sensor that many Note and Samsung owners use as a remote control. We see no reason for this being removed from the device. If you like using your phone as a remote control, the Note 5 doesn't offer that anymore, but the LG G4 does.

However, if you need expandable storage for music, movies, apps, games and more, the obvious choice is the LG G4. It has 32GB of storage and a micro-SD slot. Letting users spend less than $100 for a 64GB micro-SD card. This gives you more storage than any Galaxy Note 5 will have, for less than the Note 5, but more on pricing below.

Both phones do have fast charging features, so the removable battery isn't a big concern, but still something that many Note buyers may be upset about. If you wanted an upgrade and the Note 5 disappointed, consider the LG G4.
