Another area of importance for most buyers are the specs and features of a phone. Luckily, both of these phones are super powerful with very similar hardware inside. Here are the numbers.

- 8GB of RAM
- Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI
- Triple Rear Cameras: 12, 12, 16MP (Regular variable aperture, telephoto, and super wide-angle) Main 12MP Dual Pixel will still have OIS, 960 FPS slo-mo, and more
- 10MP front-facing camera inside the screen (top right corner)

Pretty powerful, right? LG G8 Specs
As you can see these phones have the same size screen, high resolutions, the same powerful processor and multiple cameras. However, Samsung wins in a few spots and LG wins in other areas. The Galaxy S10 has more RAM for improved multi-tasking, but the LG G8 has a slightly bigger battery. The Galaxy S10 has triple cameras on the back while the LG G8 has better sound thanks to a Quad-DAC and the entire AMOLED display turning into a speaker. Which, by the way, is pretty awesome technology and makes highs (voice) sound great during calls or music.
Either way, this race is closer than you probably expected. They're both great phones but the Galaxy S10 does have a little more tech packed inside. |
