iPhone 6 in Stock Almost Everywhere

Published

It is finally incredibly easy to find an iPhone 6 in stock, and surprisingly easy to find an iPhone 6 Plus in stock as well. It took over a month, but as the November iPhone 6 deals heat up ahead of Black Friday 2014 it appears Apple solved the supply issues that made it hard to find a new iPhone since the iPhone 6 release in mid-September.

Most Apple Stores now offer the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6 in stock for same day pickup, even though shipping times are still high for some configurations.

It’s also easier to find the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus in stock at Best Buy and at many carrier locations including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile. Rounding out the availability, Walmart is still offering a free iPhone 6 with the trade of an old iPhone, even the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s.

Shoppers can go to Apple to check to see if the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6 are in stock at a local store and reserve the specific color, size and carrier they want for same-day in store pickup. According to the iDevice availability grid, Silver and gray iPhone 6 models on all carriers are in stock at most Apple Stores in 16GB. Gold iPhone 6 availability is much better, but still hard to find. The 64GB iPhone 6 is tough to find in stock in gray on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, but available on Verizon.

You’ll have the best luck  finding an iPhone 6 in stock at an Apple Store if you use AT&T or Verizon, as there are more combinations available in stock than for Sprint and T-Mobile.

Finding an iPhone 6 Plus in stock at an Apple Store is also easier, but it’s still very hard to find a Sprint or even a T-Mobile model. AT&T and Verizon iPhone 6 Plus stock is high in silver and gold at most Apple Store locations. You can check your specific store on Apple for various models and colors. Even though shipping times are high for the iPhone 6 Plus and still over a week for the iPhone 6 most stores are selling the device with no wait.

AT&T and Verizon no longer show back order dates for many of the iPhone 6 models, but T-Mobile lists 7-10 days for some iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus options — all the way up to eight weeks for 64GB iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models. Many Sprint iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models are shipping in two to five days, but some models are still up to six weeks out.

You can also find an iPhone 6 in stock at Best Buy, although not at every store. Shoppers can check to see id there is an iPhone 6 in stock at Walmart stores by stopping in or calling the store. There is no easy way to check online.

Although it is still tough to find the 64GB iPhone 6 in stock, it is a model that is worth waiting for. You can check out why you shouldn’t buy the 16GB iPhone 6, and why the 128GB iPhone 6 is too expensive for most buyers, to help decide if you should wait.

Shoppers who’ve been waiting over a month to find the iPhone 6 in stock, should check online now, or head in to their local store to see if they can get one without waiting.
