iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S7: Storage

Say goodbye to the 16GB iPhone, as no one will miss it. This year Apple made a huge change that everyone can appreciate. The new iPhone 7 now comes in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options. No more 16GB or 64GB models.

Essentially Apple has doubles the storage amounts across the board, while the price remains the same as the iPhone 6s was last year. However, there is no microSD slot to expand storage.

Samsung's Galaxy S7 however only comes in 32 or 64GB of storage, with 32GB being the main model offered here in the United States. The big part here though, is Samsung returned the microSD slot in 2016. Users can throw in a 256GB microCD card and have almost 300GB of space. This will be achievable without spending well over $1000 like you can expect the 256GB iPhone 7 to cost.

If storage is a concern buyers can rest easy knowing the iPhone 7 now comes in a 256GB configuration, or get a Galaxy S7 and have as many SD cards as they'd like.
