Other Carriers Are Already Taking iPhone 8 Pre-Orders

It’s 12:14 AM and Apple’s still not taking your order!

This is a stinger. If you are on Facebook or Twitter, you likely are seeing people placing iPhone 8 pre-orders on other carriers while you wait for the Apple Store to come back online.

If your carrier is taking orders, go there and place an order. Don’t wait for Apple as they can take 5 to 15 minutes longer in some cases. If you end up placing the order you want at Apple later, you can always cancel the order.

You can call and get the purchase approved and then try and order again 15 to 30 minutes later, but you might be too late. If possible use another credit card. Discover and American Express work best for this. When we’ve had to deal with Visa or Mastercard it delayed the process close to an hour.
