Don't Expect Them to Remain in Stock

If you've been through an iPhone launch before you know how hard it can be to secure the exact model you want.

Once the clock strikes midnight on pre-order day, stock starts to evaporate in minutes as Apple's website and retail websites struggle under the pressure.

We haven't heard any rumors about extreme iPhone XS stock shortages (fingers crossed), but that doesn't mean there won't be issues at launch.

  • You can expect the cheapest iPhone XS options at carriers like AT&T and Verizon to sell out quickly. The cheapest options offer the least amount of storage space.
  • You can expect shipping times to get pushed back across the board with some pre-orders pushed into October.
  • You can also expect the iPhone X Plus to sell out quickly as people jump on the big screen device.

Bottom line: If you want a very specific iPhone XS, iPhone X Plus, or 6.1-inch LCD iPhone model ASAP, you'll want to put in a pre-order or risk waiting several agonizing weeks for your device to arrive on your doorstep.

You can’t just shift all of it out on your doorstep or maybe your lawn and wait
for a garbage collect truck to haul it away after 3 to
4 days or even later. The recycled items may be used to produce a wide range of different things.

You will also have to have lights and traffic cones at each and every end with the skip if it is sited for the road.
